Calendar Overview
The Calendar is where the magic happens — it's your real-time view of who's doing what and when. Think of it as mission control for your daily appointments. One glance and you know exactly how the day looks.
What You'll See
The Calendar page displays a day view with columns for each selected employee and time slots running as rows down the page. Appointments appear as colored blocks within the grid, giving you an instant visual snapshot of your team's day.
Each block contains key details like the client name and service, so you can quickly scan the schedule without clicking into anything.
Date Navigation
Getting around the calendar is straightforward:
- Left/Right arrows — step one day backward or forward
- Date picker — jump to any specific date you need
- "Now" button — instantly snap back to today (handy when you've wandered off into next month)
Filtering
At the top of the page, you'll find filtering controls to narrow down what you see:
- Select a company — choose the company you want to view
- Select a branch — pick a branch within that company (this is a cascading dropdown: pick the company first, then the branch)
- Select employees — choose which employees' schedules to display
The calendar updates immediately to show only the selected employees' columns. This is especially useful if you have a large team but only need to see a few people at a time.
Reading the Calendar
Here's how to make sense of what you see:
- Columns — each column represents one employee
- Rows — time slots run vertically down the page
- Appointment blocks — booked appointments appear as colored blocks showing the client name and service information
- Click to view — click any appointment block to open its details, where you can view or edit the booking
TIP
If the calendar looks empty, double-check your filters. You might have the wrong branch selected, or no employees checked. We've all been there.
