Branches / Locations

Locations (also called branches) represent the physical places where your services are provided. A cozy studio downtown, a flagship salon in the mall, a pop-up shop at the beach — each one gets its own location in WantVisit. A company can have as many locations as needed.

Overview

Each location has its own:

• Address and map pin
• Opening hours and timezone
• Employees and schedules
• Services and pricing (with its own currency)
• Contact information

This means you can run locations in different cities — or even different countries — all from one admin panel.

Selecting a Company

Before managing locations, you need to pick which company you're working with.

Use the dropdown at the top of the page to select the company whose locations you want to view or manage. The location list will update to show only that company's branches.

Creating a Location

To add a new location:

1. Click "Create a new company location"
2. Fill in the following details:

Basic Information

• Name — give your location a recognizable name (e.g., "Downtown Salon", "Westside Studio")
• Description — a brief description of this location. This may be shown to clients, so keep it inviting.

Schedule and Time

• Opening hours — when this location is open for business
• Timezone — the timezone for this location

TIP

Setting the correct timezone is crucial. It ensures appointments are displayed at the right local time, even if you manage locations across different time zones.

Online Presence

• Website — your location's website URL (optional, but nice to have)

Contact Information

• Email — contact email for this location
• Phone — contact phone number

Physical Address

• Country — the country where the location is situated
• City — the city
• Address — street address

Map

Click on the interactive map to pin your exact location. The map uses Google Maps, so you can zoom in, drag around, and place the pin right on your front door. This helps clients find you without calling to ask "Where exactly are you?" for the tenth time today.

Regional Settings

• Language — the default language for this location (used for client-facing content)
• Currency — the currency for pricing at this location (e.g., USD, EUR, RUB). All service prices at this branch will use this currency.

Upload a photo of your location to make it recognizable. Requirements:

• Minimum size: 256x256 pixels
• Maximum size: 1280x1280 pixels

A great photo of your space can make a strong first impression. Show off that interior design you're proud of.

Editing a Location

To update an existing location:

1. Find the location card on the page
2. Click the edit button
3. Modify any of the fields described above
4. Save your changes

Deleting a Location

To remove a location:

1. Click the delete button on the location card
2. Confirm in the dialog that appears

WARNING

Deleting a location will remove all associated employee records, schedules, services, and appointments at that branch. Make sure you really want to do this.
