Company Invitation
Not every WantVisit journey starts with creating a company from scratch. Sometimes, you get invited to join one. If a company owner or admin has sent you an invitation link, this page explains what to expect and how to hop on board.
Receiving an Invitation
A company owner or administrator can invite you to join their organization in WantVisit. When they do, you'll receive an invitation link — typically via email or direct message.
The link looks something like this:
https://cp.wantvisit.com/invitation/...INFO
You need a WantVisit account to accept an invitation. If you don't have one yet, sign up first — it only takes a minute.
Accepting the Invitation
- Make sure you're logged in to your WantVisit account at cp.wantvisit.com.
- Open the invitation link in your browser.
- You'll see an invitation page with the following details:
- Company name — the company you're being invited to join
- Position — the role you'll hold (e.g., "Hairstylist", "Manager")
- Role — your access level: Owner, Admin, or Employee
- Expiration time — how long the invitation remains valid
- Review the details and click "Accept".
That's it — you're part of the team now.
TIP
Double-check the company name before accepting. If something looks off, reach out to the person who sent you the invitation to confirm it's legitimate.
What Happens Next
Once you accept the invitation:
- You'll have access to the company's data based on your assigned role.
- The company will appear in your account — you can switch between companies if you belong to more than one.
- Depending on your role, you may be able to view the calendar, manage appointments, or configure settings.
Role Breakdown
| Role | What you can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full access — manage everything, including company settings and team members |
| Admin | Broad access — manage locations, employees, services, and appointments |
| Employee | Focused access — view your own schedule and manage your appointments |
Expired Invitations
Invitations don't last forever — they come with an expiration time for security reasons.
If you click an invitation link and see a message that it has expired, here's what to do:
- Contact the company admin or the person who invited you.
- Ask them to send a new invitation from the admin panel.
- Accept the new link before it expires.
WARNING
Invitation links are single-use. Once accepted, the link can't be used again. If someone else needs to join, the admin will need to create a separate invitation for them.
