Service Groups

Service groups help you organize your services into logical categories. Think of them as folders for your services — a beauty salon might have groups like "Haircuts", "Coloring", and "Spa Treatments", while a fitness studio might use "Personal Training", "Group Classes", and "Assessments". Your clients will see these groups when browsing available services on the booking page.

Overview

A well-organized set of service groups makes life easier for everyone:

• For your clients — they can quickly find what they're looking for instead of scrolling through an endless list
• For your team — services are logically structured and easier to manage
• For you — adding new services later is straightforward when you already have a clear category structure

Each group belongs to a specific location, so different branches can have different group structures if needed.

Selecting a Location

Service groups are tied to a location. Use the cascading dropdown at the top:

1. Select a company
2. Select a branch (location)

The page will display the service groups for the selected location.

Creating a Group

To create a new service group:

1. Click "Create a service group"
2. Fill in the details:

Name

Give your group a clear, descriptive name. Examples:

• "Hair Services"
• "Massage & Body"
• "Nail Art"
• "Consultations"

Keep it short and intuitive. Your clients should know exactly what's inside the group just from reading the name.

Description

A brief description of what this group includes. This helps clients understand the scope of services in this category. For example: "All hair-related services including cuts, styling, coloring, and treatments."

Image

Upload an image to visually represent the group. Requirements:

• Minimum size: 256x256 pixels
• Maximum size: 1280x1280 pixels
• Formats: SVG or PNG

A relevant image makes your booking page look polished and professional. A photo of a great hairstyle for "Hair Services" beats a generic placeholder any day.

Group Cards

Each service group is displayed as a card showing:

• Image — the uploaded group image
• Name — the group name
• Description — the group description

Cards give you a quick visual overview of all your service categories at a glance.

Editing a Group

To update a group:

1. Click on the group card
2. Modify the name, description, or image
3. Save your changes

Deleting a Group

To remove a service group:

1. Click the delete button on the group card
2. Confirm in the dialog

WARNING

Before deleting a group, make sure to move or delete the services within it first. Deleting a group that still contains services may result in those services becoming inaccessible.

TIP

Well-organized groups make the booking experience smoother for your clients. Think of them as chapters in a menu — nobody wants to scroll through 50 unsorted services.
