Managing Appointments
Appointments rarely stay exactly as they were first booked. Clients reschedule, services run long, prices get adjusted — it happens. The good news is that managing all of this is quick and painless.
Opening an Appointment
Click on any appointment block in the calendar to open its details in a side panel. From there, you can view all the booking information and make changes.
Changing Status
Every appointment moves through a lifecycle. Use the status selector to update where it stands:
| Status | Color | What It Means |
|---|---|---|
| Wait | Blue | The default state for newly created appointments. The client is expected. |
| In Process | Purple | The appointment is currently happening. |
| Done | Green | All finished. Great work! |
| Cancel | Red | The appointment was cancelled. |
Simply select the new status from the dropdown and it will update immediately on the calendar.
Rescheduling
Need to move an appointment to a different day?
- Open the appointment details
- Use the date picker to select a new date (past dates are disabled — no time travel allowed)
- The list of available time slots will update automatically for the new date
- Pick a new time
The calendar will reflect the change right away.
Changing Duration
If the appointment needs more (or less) time than originally planned, adjust the duration with the time picker. When you change the duration, the system recalculates available time slots to make sure nothing overlaps.
WARNING
Changing the date or duration of an appointment may affect available time slots for other appointments. The system will update available times accordingly.
Updating Price
Sometimes the final price differs from the default. You can modify the service price directly in the appointment details. The price is displayed in your branch's configured currency, so what you see is what the client sees.
Editing Description
Need to update the appointment notes? Edit the description field to add or change any information. This is useful for recording what happened during the appointment or updating instructions.
Saving Changes
Once you've made your updates, click "Save" to apply everything. The calendar and appointment history will reflect your changes immediately.
TIP
Get into the habit of updating appointment statuses as they happen. It keeps your history clean and makes reporting much more useful down the line.
